Kringle Collection Help

Here is my problemo.
I have tried to work with the tutorial, and now it's just the missing texture thingy.
The black and purple.
this is what i have in notepad++

I read somewhere that if i changed the skin to blue it would help but at the moment im not sure.
As well as when im messing with the lighting on the camera it doesnt have any shading just stays the same.
Bright in the darkness.
Please help me o lordy jesus.

There's your problem. I don't know why you added "_blue" there, xms_snowcoat_blue.vtf doesn't exist. The blue skin uses the same texture.

Commenting out $detailblendmode 6 and setting $colortint_tmp to [0 0 0] in both xms_snowcoat.vmt and xms_snowcoat_blue.vmt is all you have to do to make the Kringle Collection work properly.

That's what I have been doing yet It still doesnt seem to work.

What I'm trying to say is.
Basiclly the shader, doesnt work
I could put the Kringle on a dark dark map and it wouldnt shade to be dark.
It would just be a solid colors.
Is what i'm trying to say
I'll provide screenshots if you need them.

For some reason, I just reset my SFM and it worked. wot

Oh, right. SFM doesn't reload textures and materials automatically, you need to either restart it or type mat_reloadallmaterials in the console.
