PLEASE HELP! Shots of a session are stuck on the same image!
Okay so lets say that I have every TF2 class model in their own shot in a session. Everytime I load this session the first shot has the camera positioned to a scout model and the scond shot would have the demoman instead of scout and the other shots would have their own different character but when the video plays from the first shot to the second shot the camera is still on the scout instead of the demoman and for the whole video I see a scout instead of the other classes so the camera doesn't change! I've had this problem for a lot of videos and I coudn't finish them b/c the image of the first shot gets stuck and it won't let me move the camera too but, I could still hear the video. Please help I really want to finish these videos. :,(

Maybe you got an animation set for the camera and u r not in the animation editor? Or maybe you got the work camera active?

No the camera isn't in the animation set the problem is that when I open the sfm and load a session that I was working on and then after I play the video the image of the first shot doesn't switch to the second shot like its suppose to.

Is the correct camera selected as the active camera below the viewport?

I'm trying to post a video of my problem but It can't be copied to here. Is there another way to post it to this forum? It's not a Youtube video it's a Windows Media Player .avi file btw.

You'll have to upload your project (.dmx file or something) so we can examine it. You can use dropbox to share it with us.

Do you mean to upload it to Youtube and then share it here?

Nope. Youtube wouldn't allow you to upload that kind of files, so you'll have to use dropbox. Dropbox allows you to easily share any file with anyone, and we need that .dmx file you've been working on so we can see what is wrong.

Ok I have the video in Dropbox but I don't know how to share it here.
EDIT: btw does it have to be the dmx file or can it be a video recorded by AVS because I recorded the problem in sfm with AVS

It absolutely have to be a .dmx (found in C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\usermod\elements\sessions). Put the project in Dropbox's public folder, right click on the file and select "Copy Public Link" and paste it here. Here is a FAQ for dropbox by the way: https://www.dropbox.com/help/

Thanks! I figured out to post the video. It shows the video playing and the viewport with the Ellis model is suppose to be doing something and the shots are suppose to switch but instead the viewport is stuck with Ellis just standing there.https://www.dropbox.com/s/z3vbnyowgtd4f1v/bug.m4v

Okay I guess I see what the problem is, you haven't created an animation set for your camera. Without it, SFM doesn't know what you want to do with the camera. Watch this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWx13d52HVo&list=PL2B46DEB4157E67C4&index=3

I created an animation set for the camera and the viewport is still stuck and btw sometimes when I open the session the viewport doesn't get stuck when I play the video so what I'm experiencing is a bug that I need help to get rid of.

Oh, now I know why it isn't working: You haven't selected the other clips you're working with, you cannot make changes on clips you haven't selected (which is why your viewport got stuck beyond first clip). Click on the second clip and try to move the camera to your desired location.

I'm trying to open the session but the veiwport says "map is loading" after the session is finished loading I right clicked on the viewport and it says unload map but the map is not even loaded! I keep restarting sfm and reloading the session but the map still doesn't load! o.O
