TF2 Pyro hat; Apparition's aspect isn't paintable (how do I fix this)
Someone did tell me before that they couldn't paint this hat when they made a poster for me.

EDIT: the sengoku scorcher misc also doesn't work

The Apparition's Aspect uses selfillum, which doesn't paint correctly in SFM. You can always open C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\tf\materials\models\workshop\player\items\pyro\ghost_aspect\ghost_aspect_1.vmt, and comment out (by typing \\ in front of the line) $selfillum. It won't look quite the same as in game, but it'll be close enough.

The Sengoku Scorcher paints just fine out of the box though.

Oh, maybe you could try putting SFM in, uh... not maximized mode, not sure how to call it. Move the window so it's higher on the screen, y'know?

If there's plenty of materials in one model it can. My monitor's a big enough resolution (1080p) for the menu to usually not reach all the way to the bottom though.
