What body parts do you recommend moving first in a pose?
Hey guys, I was wondering what body parts of a character I should move first for a pose,(i.e. pelvis, then legs, etc). I am having trouble posing someone standing up because I don't really know what to do. Any help is appreciated. Also, what rigs do you guys recommend that I use to move these body parts. Thanks

First, set up your arms and legs to do a specific pose (they are sometimes your most important since most action is visible from them). Next, fix the posture to how your character will interact (is he trying to run, jump, land, sit or stand straight). Finally, set up all the smaller stuff, like fingers, toes, face, and eyes. In addition, you can add hats and MISCs (you probably already know that), and that gets an eighth of your work done. :)

i'd also suggest to watch videos, or even video taping yourself standing up. just watch it over and over and study the movement.

Thank you very much, I will test this out later on.

I'll also try that out to. Thanks for the advice!
