Aw great. SFM problems.
The worst part is, I JUST got help to actually start USING it. Anyway, everytime I select "launch SFM" an error window comes up saying it's "unable to load C:/Program Files"
I've heard this is a common problem with the program and I really don't want to delete it and re-install. I'm worried that if I reinstall, the same thing will happen again. Anyone know how to fix it?

Hold on, there have been a couple of reports of this happening just now. it may be a server glitch and we're trying to find out what it is

What you can do it try to start it in offline mode... Go into the Steam client to sfm and right click on it, go to properties and click that, On the general tab of the properties menu click set launch options add

-nosteam and say ok... try to launch SFM again

Thanks but nothing changed. Wonder why it's having so much trouble lately.

Ok, time to perform the old "Validate Local Application Cache" Process

Go into the Steam Client
go to Library
Select All Softwares
right click on SFM
go into properties.
Click the Local Files tab on the Properties menu
Select Validate Local Application Cache and let the process finish.

This will force the program to examine the local files and download any that are corrupt or missing.

SFM should work normally after the validation.

Thanks. It's opening normally now. If the same problem happens again, should I just do the same process again?
