Portal 2 maps
I had ported Portal 2 assets back in 2012 (which uses the batch file) and today I tried to use one of the Portal 2 maps but I get the wireframe-looking map.
And then I'm told that the assets doesn't need the batch file to make it work, based from this guide

After I re-import the assets without the batch file I'm still getting the same result.

I'd to hear answer for those who are able to make it work instead of having a wireframe map.
Thanks in advance.

I don't suppose you found a solution for this?

Not all map works, for example the destroyed GLaDOS chamber.

It may be best to wait for an official port.

Yeah, I had the same problem. It happens on some of the Half-Life 2 maps as well. I thought the Portal 2 DLC for SFM would fix this, but the bug persists. Another problem I noticed was that on some maps, anything more than a certain distance away from the camera becomes a white void.

I sort of fixed that by getting a very low intensity light to cast over the white area. It would still appear white from certain angles, though.

Ah, okay. I'll try that. Thanks :)

What about the destroyed GLaDOS chamber.

Not sure, we might just have to wait for Valve to fix it on their own :/

I noticed it seems to be a brush-based problem; when I disabled brushes the weird wireframe things disappeared. Maybe if you decompile the map, remove the offending brushes, and recompile it? It would be extremely time consuming... I might try it. Not tonight. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe the day after that. I have no idea. My computer might not even be able to handle the daunting task of compiling a Valve map... I'll do my best though, and see if I can somehow send the new map out when I'm done. No promises though.
