Rendering issues
I have rendered several animations before just fine, but after a month long project (because I am a noobie it took a while) on a 30 second animation I attempted rendering it and the video files are unreadable or corrupt, as a .avi it isnt recogised and as mp4 it is just glitched audio.
I would greatly appreciate any help.

try playing the mp4 in VLC media player. i find windows media player sometimes has issues with sfm renders.

also, what settings are you exporting as?

I tried uncompressed .mp4 and .avi, 720p, 30 fps, 256 DoF, 256 Motion blur, no gamma adjust,
subpixel jitter. Anything else?
(I am able to see the animation in quicktime, its just laggy, but still all my other animations play in Windows media just fine.)
at the moment I don't have Vlc But I can get that.

Try it in VLC. it's free will generally play anything. If it doesn't play it then chances are nothing will.

in that case you may have to resort to doing an image sequence instead.
