Help! 'No Map Loaded!'
Hello everyone,
For the past few hours I have been creating an SFM animation with map, characters and everything, so I save my progress so far (fully satisfied) and then decide to go back on SFM. I navigate to my saved file, click open aaaand...

In the viewport it says 'No Map Loaded'.

I am a total newbie, so try and keep comments simple please.

It will say no map loaded while it loads (if you truly picked your saved file). Just wait about 1-2 minutes, depending on your PC equipment. Also, make sure your saved file has a name given by you. Although SFM usually changes standard file name every time you create a new session.

It has been going for 8 minutes now, still showing the same thing.
My specs:
Intel Core i5 4460 @3.2Ghz
nVidia GTX 670 MSI 2gb
8gb RAM

EDIT:
I can now select the bones of my characters, but I can't see the map as it still says NO MAP LOADED.

So your character is in there but your map somehow does not load. Ok. Right click in viewport and select Load Map and reload the map you used before. Unless you have deleted that map, it should be somewhere in there, just search its name.

Is the map loaded at shot level or session level? If you loaded at shot level, and have selected a different shot, it could say "No Map Loaded" for the selected shot.

At the very least, right click, "load map" and select the map you are using.

when I click load maps there are not maps in that little window

it says that its looking here c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\sourcefilmmaker\game\usermod\maps\(null)

No, there are no maps in usermod unless you've ported some there (and obvisously you haven't)

Everything is sorted now! It works properly now and loads up without me having to do any manual labour. :) Thanks to everyone who helped!
