Accessing and Editing a Vtm File
I've had some troubles (as has everyone else) with the zombie scout model, which becomes transparent when you activate ambient occlusion. I've spoken with someone who has told me to edit the .vtm file and add "$ambientocclusion" "0".
Unfortunately, I have as much knowledge about accessing VTM files as a rock does. Could someone walk me through the process of finding the vtm file for a zombie model and edit it?

Go to (usually) C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/SourceFilmmaker/ game/tf/materials/models/player/scout . Find "scout_[team]_zombie_alphatest.vmt" or something like that, and open that in a text editor. Notepad should be fine.

Then, somewhere, add $ambientocclusion 0 in a line by itself, and save the file.
If that doesn't work (haven't tested), just remove the $alphatest 1 line (make sure to set $ambientocclusion to 1 if you haven't removed that line yet).
