When open the sfm
it says
The current mod is from a different directory than your executable
This can be cauesd by running a tool from one product while the current mod is from a different product
The mod can be set from the SDK
(path:D:\steam\SteamApps\common\Source filmmaker\game)
(VGAME:D:)

When launching Source FilmMaker, choose "Launch SDK", let that open, then click "Source FilmMaker" right below "Applications" (inside the SDK).

there is no response when I click the "Launch SDK"

Go to your Steam library, find Source FilmMaker, click "LAUNCH" (dunno why it's in capital). When the little menu opens, click "Launch SDK", so the circle beside it gets white, and the circle beside "Launch Source Filmmaker" gets gray. Then click the "LAUNCH" button in the menu, and then the SDK should open. If not, open task manager, go to the process list, hit N, and repeat, while looking at whether a process called "qsdklauncher.exe" boots up or not.

When I copy the "sfm.exe" to the driver D and click it

it'll say failed to load the launcher dll

Try running "D:\steam\SteamApps\common\Source filmmaker\game\bin\qsdklauncher.exe" manually.
