Problems with uploading videos to youtube...
Every time i try to upload a video to youtube directly from sfm, the video comes up as "Not available" on youtube and Steam. This seems to have started after the latest sfm update.

Then don't do that. Export it however you want, make it a video file, and upload that to YouTube with a web browser. Then you can go to Steam and use "Add videos" in your Steam profile's Videos page after it has uploaded.
Guess ill have to do it that way then. Thanks for answering.
Sadly, very very sadly, one has to upload videos within Source FilmMaker to submit them to the Saxxies. (No, the Saxxies haven't started yet, I was just stating it.)

no you don't, you just have to submit them through sfm.

Did you reply to my statement? If so, does that mean I can record myself playing Sonic Generations for 5 minutes with a no-hud mod, upload that to YouTube, go to Source FilmMaker, submit that for the Saxxies, and get disqualified due to copyright and not using Source FilmMaker for it?

Also, all the filetypes were supported.
mp4 should be fine. i've uploaded the raw export before with no problem.

how long was it? also any copyrighted music on it? 720 or 1080? filesize?
Its a 6 second long video, no copyrighted music and the video quality was 720p.
did you try more then once as an mp4? youtube can be a pain at times, especially certain times of the day.
Yes, i tried 5 times and then re-rendered it as .mov. It still wouldnt work though.
