Hey guys,i have a problem,I finished my 1:20 video or 1:30,something like that, and I wanna render it with Mp4,but i can't find it,i have instaled QuickTime and restarted my laptop, but nothing.I have Windows 8.1 Enterprise.I wanna use Mp4 because I know that it's rendering very quick.
And I have another error:
When I tried to post my movie to Steam and Youtube from SFM,and im typing my YouTube account,it says that the Username or Passord it's not correct, when actually it is.Thank you everyone who will try to help me,and quick, please, because it's my first animation ever in SFM and I wanna post it on YouTube,Steam and Facebook.

It's probably better to just render out the movie and post it to youtube manually. then add it to your steam.

as for why mp4 isn't showing, try reinstalling QT then restarting and see if that works.
I reinstalled it and still not working....And I searched all over Google and nothing.I wanna mp4 or even better format if exist for my video, because i really want it.Anyway, what format does Valve used for Expiration Date?Because i don't think they used .avi because if a 1 minute takes 40 hours to make, then 14 minutes takes 40 hours x 17 minutes, with means 680 hours(I used calculator),and I don't think Valve waited that much O_O
You'd be surprised.
The most popular way to export a video seems to be to export the whole thing as an image sequence, then use something like Virtual Dub to compile all the images into an .avi, then change the .avi to like a .wmv or something. It's (in my opinion) the best way to keep the quality, but it takes a lot longer to export than an .mp4.
I also second raptornx's uploading suggestion. Do it myself every time.

No one ever uses .Avi its pretty stupid and does not need to be used ever, Also i had this problem for a short notice so just try and open quicktime player and load a video in it or something without SFM open and then if it works load up SFM again and it should hopefully be there. If that does not fix it just reply and i will try my best to help you.
*facepalm*,when I click QuickTimePlayer,it's showing an error"You need Apple Support",only QuickTime Preferences I can open,god dangit,why so manny errors?My pc is working great,and I wanna do animations :(
Finally finished the problem.I needed do download iTunes and then drag the QuickTimeMovie.dll or something like that into the iTunes folder.
ok, thats weird. don't know anyone else that had to do that. must have been something borked with your install files.
