gm_atomic purple texture error
I'm currently having issues importing gm_atomic to sfm. The map has none custom textures, only those from Half Life 2 Episode 2, and i've already extracted those to SFM using GCFScape. I've also used bspsrc to decompile the bsp file into a vmf. But when i press "Run" the command prompt opens, and adds "can't find texture ******".

Here's some images:

I don't see how that would help, as i still require help with the textures...

There are probably custom textures embedded in the original BSP. You can extract them in BSPSrc.

the textures were packed in, so it should work as is.

did you try bspsource?

like I said, the stuff was all packed into the map I gave, but fine,

the sep files extracted from the bsp.

Also, hammer looks for the files in your folders, it won't see files packed into the map.

I don't know how you did it, but it worked. Now.. A new issue appears *sadface*.

"Warning: node without a volume"
"Warning: node without a volume"
"Bad surface extents point: -8192.000000 -14336.000000 -12288.000000"
"Bad surface extents point: -blablabla more cordinates"
"Bad surface extents point: -blablabla more cordinates"
"Bad surface extents point: -blablabla more cordinates"
Bad surface extents - surface is too big to have a lightmap
material BIGWIG/BIGBLENDCRACK2 around point (-cordinates) (dimension: 1, 128>126)

Also, the only new files it generates is:

gm_atomic_d_d.vmx
gm_atomic_d_d
gm_atomic_d_d.prt

There's no new BSP file

there are three brushes on the south end of the map that are too large. you can either split them (which is what was done with the one i gave). but it causes small gaps along the edges of them that can't be sewn together.

You can delete them and remake them as smaller brushes.

or you can try to use the gmod compiler and make sure hdr is turned on.
