DLing now. it's supposed to have all the sound files characters and props from l4d2 and all it's dlc. not sure on maps yet.

hmmm it seems a large number of models (more then half) are either missing textures, and more are invisible in the model browser (though from invisible ones i've checked appear fine when spawned).

also some will cause sfm to crash when viewing sequences in the viewer.

Anyone know how to get the L4D 1 and 2 maps then?

there is one or two in the workshop. and you can try copying the existing ones over and sticking them in the l4d folders that were just made. see if it accepts them.

L4D1 maps should load fine. Just mount L4D1 content "below" the DLC.

I'm working on L4D2 stuff now.

you don't need to mount the l4d1 content as it was included. they included the content from the dlc, remember. those included all the l4d1 content and maps.

Not the maps, and not all of it - everything from DLC3 (Cold Stream and every L4D1 campaign except No Mercy) is not included.

well. to be fair, they are missing alot of stuff. the reason for all the missing textures is there are alot of material folder missing. also joey is missing and I think Francis as well.
