How do I get blender rigs into sfm?
Hi,
I created a rig for a custom model in blender using the rigify plugin, is there any way I can get it into sfm?

I used that to export to smd, and when I convert it the bones are messed up and I get the error message:
Model has 2-dimensional geometry

That's an error which should only appear if you're making a collision model. If that's the case, scroll down to 'Common Errors' here.

Also when I try to export to smd, I get the error.

Well that pretty much answers itself. You have too many bones.

Are you making a collision model, or not?

that is a modified compiler that supports up to 512 bones. you should be able to use it with blender scource tools.

I managed to get the model into sfm, but whenever i move a bone, everything else doesnt move with it. (Example: I try to get the model to move his spine downwards and the model glitches out) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPJVwgT4DVE&feature=youtu.be

Looking at your description of the bug, the bones might not be parented to each other.

how do I parent them?

Go to edit mode on the skeleton, select a bone, go to the bone tab subpage thing on the thing on the right, and set the parent to another bone, I guess.

I think the bones are already parented, this is the .blend file I am using: https://db.tt/vDdZbmzz

I'm not sure the Blender Source Tools supports rigs. Try importing an SMD or DMX file, and you will be greeted with what the Blender Source Tools work with. Speaking of which, you can just import the exported SMD/DMX as a test to see what it looks like, and then parent those bones properly, followed by re-exporting the SMD/DMX.
