Multiple Maps in 1 Session
Hey guys,
So I've read multiple threads on how to do this, even, but I still don't fully understand how to do this.

When I rightclick the shot I want my mapchange to happen, I click on the 'show in element viewer' option and open the map I want under the mapname section. The map still doesn't change at this point. After this I click on the home icon and open the activeclip section. Then I delete the mapname. Now the scene I want my mapchange in, says 'wrong map loaded'. The other scenes are black (no map loaded) and doesn't say 'wrong map loaded'. When I load the map I want for that scene, the whole session changes from map.
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!

My preferred way of having multiple maps is by rendering every different map manually.

Wow, didn't even know you could do this in the first place. Cool.
Tried it myself. Got it to work fine.
Kept one shot as one map, placed the other shot in the element viewer and gave it a different map file to load. Then went to the activeclip, found mapname for the entire session and deleted the text in the box. Now my first shot has the correct map, but I have to manually load in the correct map for the second shot (which also deloads the map for the first shot).
Sounds like you only assigned a map for a single shot. You need to go into each individual shot and assign it a map, then erase the map name for the entire session. SFM can only have one map loaded, so you'll need to manually load the correct map for each shot.
Hope that helps.
