Right-click Source Filmmaker in your Steam library (in the "Software" or "Installed" categories), choose "Properties" > "Local Files" > "Verify Integrity of Application Files...", wait for it to finish (which is when it says how many files will be reacquired, not when it says 100%), and allow Steam to re-download any files it wants to for Source Filmmaker.

Right-click Source Filmmaker in your Steam library, choose "Properties" > "Local Files" > "Browse Local Files...", and then navigate into "game" > "tf" > "materials" > "models" > "player" > "pyro". Inside of this folder, is there a file called "pyro_lightwarp.vtf" or "pyro_lightwarp"?

There is one

In that case, please reboot Source Filmmaker, make a new session (don't load a map), open the model browser, select a Team Fortress 2 class model, close the model browser, click "Windows" > "Console" at the top-left of Source Filmmaker, and then copy and paste everything from the console here.
(Whether you can paste it all in one comment, in multiple comments, or in a pastebin.com link or such doesn't really matter to me, as long as it's just all there.)

This was a long time ago but the reason your characters had pink tint was because you deleted a file and/or some of the files that require that, so suggesting you should trace back from the original downloaded file in your Downloads on your pc and try and compare which parts you're missing.
