How do I get double jump?

So I have been doing the maps with power brake and at some points it really sucks, then I watch the guide videos and of course all of them use double jump. How do I get it? I am at the space station map now. Did I miss it somewhere before?

You do not get double jump power up until you complete the level your on, the last level.

So i completed all of the levels.. how do I get double jump? just press twice or how? :D

Double-Jump is an ability like the Teleport Beacon or the default Power Brake.
If you want to equip Double-Jump, go to your main menu page and choose it from the options.
You can only have 1 ability equipped at a time, so if you choose Double-Jump, your Power Brake will no longer be an ability.
