Door glitch?

Just a little info first :
Started playing this game on Linux in my pc without much trouble (just to try it, didn't even finish the first tropical level), then tried to play in Win 7 and found that I couldn't reuse my nick for scores. Oh well, no worries so far.

But I think I stumbled upon a game breaking glitch today. I am away from home and I tried playing in my laptop in Win 7. But the door to the very first stage doesn't open, and the ball seems to get stuck against it when I get nearby, so no way to play anything but the tutorial :( .

Did anyone else experience this or has any tip on getting it to work?

I experienced it. Press ESC to pause and restart the game, now try going through the door again. That's all you need to do. Just stay away from the edges of the doorway and that won't happen.
