I hate the pause screen

When you pause the game you need to be able to see whats going on, not have a gigantic menu that blocks everything. That way you can have a minute to evalute the situation without feeling disconnected from the action. I thought it was common knowledge that strategy games allow for pausing and free-camming so you can better strategise if there's need to?

I dunno, seems like most tower defense games block your view of the action while paused.
