Futuremark neither had the want nor the resources to continue to support this game.
Poor beta feedback caused them to revise the original game from a single gun to a COD in space approach which drove out players in hoards.
Lastly, dont forget that this game requires massive (at the time of release) gpu/cpu hardware to push it out of the 30fps realm on good settings at high resolution.
Had someone bought it and supported it after release with new maps and glitch, exploit and bug fixes (not to mention a MUCH needed anti-cheat) then maybe this would have kept a small base going.
The game is dead, convince the current owner of Futurmark games to support it, might bring it back from the dead?
^THIS!!!
The epic thing about the game was the minimalistic gunplay and your acoustics. One gun. When they came around with their firepower DLC for all, I played 2 more patches and left the game. Everything that made it was gone...
This was one of the best games I have ever played... Very good. I was eagerly waiting for something to happen with it. I hope someone develops this idea further.
The ratio of the rank of your side to the other side should have been a factor in how much rank you gained from a round.
