On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode One

Crash on startup
Today I was gifted Penny Arcade episodes 3&4 so I figured that, despite beating it on the PS3, I'd start up episode 1 to play thru quickly. Well, for what ever reason I can't get it to play for more than a few seconds. I go to check the box saying I agree with the terms or whatever and the game crashes. The window just closes, no error messages, nothing.

Any suggestion? Any one else have this problem? I'd really like to get all the achievements and go to the second episode before starting 3&4.
