Hi! I just got a Steam Key for this game. It looks nice, I would like to try it but I am not sure if there are still people that play this game? How many people get on during several parts of a day, if any?

Well you get more people at evening and in nights. This game is not dead. There are usually 2-3 servers with around 20-30 people.

yeah, not totally dead but not really thriving by any means. you should usually be able to find a game though. definitely should install it and give it a try, i think you'll enjoy it. :]

Yes, you can. Click play-Offline Practice.

You can select the amount of bots you want, the map, how many rounds, and the starting cash amount.

Still Alive ;) You can see steam and no-steam servers in Steam monitoring, for search all servers in-game — you need serverbrowser fix ( http://goo.gl/eZEpS )
Internet have no-steam version of client, i hope it help to be more popular.

So what happens with the steam-account if I use this patch? I don't want to be banned or get an entry in VAC or something.
I personally can't understand how there can be people out there who play ND frequently but don't buy it since it is on offers like every two weeks and it then costs like 2 - 4 $ or you can get a free copy here on the forums if you ask politely. But then I think: who cares if they have already bought the game. They are potential customers and fill-up the playerbase, so we profit from them.

to know that there is about 2-4 servers that has players in it is kinda sad, i was about to buy this game today *cuz i got bored and saw that it was running on source* but to know the small amount of player, well i rather get this game for free but don't know how "/

What? How many servers do you need to play on?

=|Lexx|=, Mmm...nothing. It changes game files and interwave have no way for check your client. It does not cheat, because steam show no-steam servers, but developers blocking in-game that.

i can find a populated server during primetime PST on weekdays, and multiple servers on weekends. the community is small & tightly knit, but thriving and a lot of people people still love the game enough to round up people to play.

Even Just playing bots is fun, i havent done alot of online, but i tend to play offline bots or a lan server with my brother ands bots and its still fun. Good Game :D
