Structure offsetting to the 0,0,0 coordinate
This is still present in ND and happens often what is annoying.
To be clear, when commander places a structure for building it sometimes teleports to 0,0,0 coordinate on a map.

I have made some testing and discovered that this mostly happens when placing some structure after Power Station.
Hope this can be fixed.

Yep, that's pretty annoying.

If you happen to stumble upon a way to reliably reproduce it, we can definitely take a look. It's unfortunately otherwise quite difficult to track down the cause of intermittent issues like this.

Have you had a chance to look at the other threads about how to keep the game alive? please put a post on them. At the very least say that you have read it.

I read at least the first post of every thread and subscribe to some of them.

The reality is that we do not not have the resources at the moment to make any large changes to ND as our small team is swamped, working full force on our next game, Dark Matter[www.darkmatterthegame.com]. Despite that, I still find bits of time here and there to make small fixes when possible. I have a few of them pending that will be in an update when time permits.

Thank you very much for replying, I do understand that you are busy however many people still enjoy playing this game and would love to see it become more popular. If you have to time to read this thread it would be greatly appreciated:

Some money can still be made from this game and it would be amazing to see it grow.

I have read the thread. Again, we don't have the manpower to make any large changes to the game at this time. I also don't personally handle any of the decision-making for any potential new features

I can reproduce this. Uploading a video:
http://youtu.be/wNdC9SoAbs8

Steps:
- On hilly surface
- Place a Power Station. It starts building itself
- Wait until its box is opened
- Right after the box is opened Place a Supply Station a bit more far from the Relay Tower then the Power Station is
- The Supply station disappear when its box appear

Thanks, that helps immensely. I'll check it out.

@psychonic: will Dark Matter contain some (at least hidden) reference to Nuclear dawn? .)

I wouldn't have it any other way.

Yesterday I had 8 structures one after another teleported to 0,0,0. I was trying to build a power station and a wireless repeater on the East side near the Empire base on the Gate map. When I found a 0,0,0 location on this map(it is near primary resource) there were a lot of my and enemy structures over there, so I assume that my opponent had the same problem I had.
I also have an assumption that when enemy comm is building a power station and I place some structures on displacements for building my structures get teleported.

Now I found out that it also happens on non displacement surfaces. We played on Sandbrick Warfare and had our structures teleported to 0,0,0.

Today I found that this is related to power line. If you have 2 unconnected power lines and place a structure in between these power lines, so structure can take power from one or another power line then it gets teleported.
E.g. for Empire place an isolated power station to the left, then place an isolated power station to the right, build some relays, then place something in between these power stations, it gets teleported.

Following these exact directions, I'm still having trouble reproducing this. Does anyone happen to have a demo recorded with this occuring?

it seems to be reproducing on dedicated server only

I tried to reproduce it on local server(using 'map oilfield' command) and it didn't reproduce.
