To everyone who redownloaded PVKII

Alright, Steam has made it that we had to redownload PVKII with the message "optimizing files for faster preformance" similar to the way it had done with other games such as TF2 etc under the Steam --> steamapps --> common --> Source SDK Base 2007 for PVKII.

As a result, you have two PVKII's as it doesn't remove the old one but only the new one appears on the game list. The new one doesn't have all your configs, sounds, maps, sprays etc (acts like a fresh install). If you want them all back follow these steps:

1) Download the new PVKII it asks you to do.
2) Next, go to Steam --> steamapps --> (username) --> pirates, vikings, and knights ii (all the stuff in this folder)
3) Copy and paste the files/folders from "INSIDE" the folder (not the whole folder itself, just all of its contents) into the new one (Steam --> steamapps --> common --> Source SDK Base 2007) merging all the folders and replacing all the files with the old ones.

This way, you will keep all your stuff you had before (configs, sounds, maps, sprays, etc) without having to redownload them all again.

I assume you can delete the old PVKII folder after you moved it into the new one to save space.

thx it didnt work when i tryed the first time or second but when i tryed the 3rd time it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ACTULLY WORKED!
P.S:Why Is The Pirate Class So O.P? Add Me And Tell Me Plz!!
