Map c17 05 survoirs not spawning?

so in the second to the last map for some reasons its there is a part or a level that seems to be stuck in a infinate loop. The first group of surviors folow us fine but then me and my freind can not get the second wave to spawn i have no idea why this is happing does anyone have any suggestions? mabye there is a new patch of something for syngery that iam not aware of? its say its up to date are there any other 3rd party bug fix type things for this?

I believe he's talking about ep1_c17_05 where you need to escort the civilians (not survivors) to the train station. I have also seen this glitch where the next group of civilians do not spawn and you cannot continue.
