mass effect doesnt open up

so i downloaded both mass effect 1 an 2 and when i try to open them up none of them work , it doesnt do anything , can someone please help me ive been wanting to play this game for a while now

Instead of making a new thread, you should really take a look around these forums. A ton of people are having the same problems and a lot of potential solutions are offered in already existing threads..

Set your steam client to run in administrator mode.
For ME 2 you might need to install the origin client.
