Thanks mate, unfortunatelly for me it's not a solution, but thanks anyway for the work you've done!
Steam support shoud hire or simply pay users which are doing theyr job of getting apps working.
I've never seen working solutions or replys from steam support team concerning apps that failed to work fo me... maybe I'm just unlucky?)
After installing the game, restart the PC then follow these instructions. It resolved the crash issues.
Right click each file and do the following:
Properties>Compatibility>
Compatibility Mode Section
Tick Checkbox, Run this program in compatibility mode for
Windows XP (service pack 2)
Privilege Level
Tick Checkbox, Run this program as an administrator
Click Apply, then Ok.

Launcher.exe
MassEffectLauncher.exe
runme.exe
Steam\steamapps\common\Mass Effect\Binaries
MassEffect.exe
MassEffectConfig.exe
Run MassEffectLauncher.exe in the Mass Effect folder and select desired video setup etc. Don't forget to select the Mass Effect>Save Settings next to the File menu, top of the screen. Close and run the desktop shortcut.
