Mass Effect (2007)

Bioware wasnt serious were they?
Okay Mass effect series is great blah blah blah ... ME 1 is the biggest disapointment ever.. (i started at 2 then went to 3 but bought 1 cuz i was tired of not getting what they were talking about and so on). All that aside ...

They wernt serious bout this game were they... the guns ALL GUNS have some of the worst accuracy ive ever played in a game. This isnt just me cuz ive tried to find fixed online for it.. Im asking if there is a fix for the terrible aiming system...

Not to mention the rediculous rag dolls when people die, the low damage on weapons (even the most advanced ones), The hilarious "aim assist" and "Causual" difficulty the game is rediculous (I already expect people to shout saying "your supposed to upgrade your aim dumbass" well I have to the max.. every upgrade i can find + 15% bonus aim mods.)

I've never had an issue with aim though I will admit its a bit more touchy then ME2 onward. Early guns/level will give you issues in aim due to poor quality and training your character. On higher levels and guns you barely even notice this issue especially when you get used to the dynamics.

Were you expecting (after upgrades) to be able to get near-constant headshots? Unless you're using a sniper rifle (which have a large recoil, even upgraded), that won't happen. Even with maximum cooldown and stabilization, very few weapons reward constant bullet-spraying with accurate hits.

Low damage on weapons? Did you even get any of the "advanced" weapons? (like the Tsunami, Sokolov, Kovalyov, Pulse Rifle, or any Spectre Gear).

The ragdolling is pretty funny, though.

okay outa curioussity (and some "frustration") i used the console and maxxed ALL my stats out, added the best weapon mods for aim i could... and its still hilariously HILARIOUSLY furstrating aiming with any gun... Just in comparission its frustrating going from NO aim in ME1 to ... i can headshot anything with no upgrades, no mods, no weapon training with a simple handgun or hell even shotguns are more accurate than the machine gun in ME1.

Yep. ME2 and on has very console like combat. ME1, on the other hand, demands a bit more skill and focus. It just takes some getting used to.

Bro, PLEASE just play these games for the story. If you want a great space shooter with similar atmosphere, just play Dead Space instead.

Mass Effect is best played for the RPG elements, great lore and dynamic storyline. Gameplay comes second. It ALWAYS comes second.

As far as platforms go, it's best to get the PS3 version of the entire trilogy since it's bundled with over half of all Mass Effect 2 DLC, and feels better overall with a dual shock controller. Sure, the Xbox version may run a tiny bit faster, but you save money with it on PS3.

Mass Effect 3 has some pretty fluid combat, though.

Definitely, especially if you're a vanguard with Level 6 Nova and Biotic Charge :D

My Vanguard playthrough was some of the most fun I've had. BUT that Citadel DLC boss, though! no spoilers
