Mirror's Edge

I'd rather get it for my xbox360 to be honest
I'm sure it's a decent game, but sitting at my desk to play this game with my cabled 360 pad is kind of meh... when i could be sitting on my couch enjoying it with a wireless controller and on a bigger screen.

I guess the point im trying to make is that the pc version offers no improvement over the console version on this occasion.

then hook up your xbox controller if its wired you fool, and enjoy this sh*t at 1080p 60 frames per second

I have a wired controller for the pc and use two wireless for the console. But i prefer playing action games in the living room. Bigger screen, no need for keyboard etc.

As for steams big screen i'd rather not be going around setting up extension cables everytime i want to play an action game. Using the console is much easier.

Simple idea, use a HDMI to connect your PC to your TV, then you can watch movies etc all from your PC.
ya that too.Is your pc too old to even support an hd reseolutions? To me it sounds like you game on vga, which was like 1980s.The wires on wired controllers are pretty big too also,i suggest you game in your bedroom or scooch your couch closer if you are the type that uses bedrooms for sleeping only.I have a 32" im about to get a 1080p 42" for my room and still game on my pc,everything simply runs better on pc too,This game has no 60 frames on xbox 360,I can't take extended periods off choppiness like that.

I used to prefer my console as well, but when I got a good setup for my PC and started to see the huge performance difference, I couldn't keep going back and forth.

Sounds like the Steam Machine might be something for you.

no improvment? you can rise the graphics higher on the pc version than what the xbox version can do...how is that NOT an improvment?

To be fair i kind of just went by seeing some gameplay footage in the past on youtube and thinking it doesnt really like any different. If the graphics are indeed better i guess i then retract my statement and say sorry!

As for connecting PC to TV with HDMI i tried it once, when an old monitor broke down and i was waiting for a new one to arrive, i wasnt that happy with it. The games generally looked alright but windows, google and Word files looked kind of bad.

If it looked bad, then you had some bad settings, probably your resolution wasn't set right. I have my 50" tv connected through HDMI with the tv on pc mode and everything is crystal clear.

If you're a PC gamer and you still have it hooked up to a computer monitor you're doing it wrong.

I play most of my games this way. Think splinter cell blacklist, hitman etc. This makes you pc into a bad @$$ console
