Black Screen on startup PLEASE HELP!

I am just getting a black screen on startup. I can hear the sound and all that, but the video doesn't display. I have tried the usual change the resolution in the config file tip, and i have updated all my drivers. Please help.

Yeah, had to go dig up the other forum thread I submitted where I posted the answer. Im gonna copy and paste the answer I found way back when. Hopefully im not too late to help stem your rage lol.

In the tdengine.ini file, if setting the resolution does not work, also set UseVsync=False to True. Worked for me!

Where is the resolution, looked through the tdengine file but can not find it.

It is your resolution i happened to me its because the game on defalt has the resolution up to a plazma tv standerd its stuped, if you have a tv hook up you laptop/pc to the tv start the game and go into options and change the res of the game to mach you monitor. hope this helps
