Nicknames

I want to race my friend but when I select race it tells me that I have to register for a new EA online account and brings up the nickname selector thing. When I put in the nickname that my origin account is registered to it says that it's already taken. When I put in any other nickname it says try another nickname. Is there any way to fix this? If so how?

I havent fixed it yet.

I fixed it yesterday, you need to goto your Documents>EA Games>Mirror's Edge>TDGame and then delete savefiles. You will have to reset all your progress, but meh.
