Crysis on AMD FX
I have two systems; an Intel first gen i5 520M, and an AMD FX 8120. Crysis and Crysis Warhead plays greatr on my Intel system. However, with my AMD system, I get the black screen, "Not Responding" in task manager and the following in Event Viewer:

Faulting application name: crysis.exe, version: 1.1.1.6156, time stamp: 0x47d6d167
Faulting module name: CryRenderD3D10.dll, version: 1.1.1.6156, time stamp: 0x47d6d2e4.

so youre saying that because of your amd processor you can't play it?

Perhaps? IDK, but that's really the only difference.

I have a pc runing the AMD FX4100 and at the time I was running windows xp 32bit. I had the same problem with Crysis, the blackscreen on startup and then crashing to desktop. The only way I go it running was I upgraded to windows 7 installing the 32bit verson then Installing the 64bit verson, then downloading and running the 64bit patch file. This was what got it working for me in the end. A bit excessive but worth it.
