reckoning bug

at the part of reckoning when i get the tac gun the scarab looking thing (don't remember name) just keeps floating up and down and i cant lock on to it. anyone know what to do?

That part of the campaign is not bugged. It is just very poorly done with regards to conveying to the player when and how to use the weapon.. Basically its a multi stage boss fight. First after getting the gun and returning to the main deck. You have to fight off the giant crab looking thing. You have to use convential weapons (mini gun, rpg's etc) then a cut scene, then you get the big boss. That is the only time you can use the tac cannon. And only then when you are told too. Like you have noticed it will not lock onto anything nor fire. It will only work at scripted moments so you will just have to dodge like crazy and wait for the radio chatter to tell you when to use it.

Oh....the last boss fight.
My pc gave a blue screen on that one.(recovered)
Very badly optimized level.
And now i can't even start the game.Hooha!
