Working: Crysis (Windows 7, 64-Bit)
Well, I just finished Crysis. I bought it from Steam, and ran it on Windows 7 system (64 Bit). I never had to use compatibilioty Mode at all, it worked right from the download. n Having said "worked", I did begin to get some crashes toward the end of the game (during a helicopter section) that persisted for a bit. I just saved and saved and saved through these bits.

Then there ius the silly Tac Canon segment at the end - a gun that ONLY works three times, and then only when you're told it does by game dialog (otherwise you can use it, but it won't lock on to anything).

I don't know what troubles people are having. I have a GTX 570, and am using the latest drivers (320.49). I have 16MB of RAM. I have a 360 controller attached to the system (which is detected) but I played with keyboard/Mouse.

I know this isn't much help to some of you. But I wanted you to know that the game does work for some people. I didn't do anything special to get it to work, and the crash bugs were annoying. But they were rare, and only toward the end of the campaign. Are you guys sure you have Windows and its services, along with video drivers, fully up to date?

It works for me but after about 20 to 30 minutes of play it crashes. If it's fixable i would love to know how but otherwise i'll just have to save every so often.

Works fine to me too. And it;s a great game. Dunno why people say it's overrated.

I've played through it, shame the DLC is rather pricey otherwise I'd have grabbed that too.

Over-rated? Hardly, I think it was terrific.

Yeah it works fine. Trouble is.... I played Crysis 3 first, finished Crysis 2 yesterday and this is just SO different its hard for me to get into. Not a fan of having to toggle 'POWER'. Eh, first world problems. But yes, it does work. W7-64bit, AMD 7870, i7.

Bahhh this is exactly what I'm experiencing but it got worse for me: Like you said games worked perfectly until the chapter where you control a helicopter. From that point the game crashed every now and then. But now I got to the scene when you fight the giganic alien ship and when I saved the game it crashed. Now everytime I try to hit load the game freezes.

Any idea how to remove a specific saved game from crysis? Maybe if I will delete this last save it will work again...

It´s working fine for me too, near the end of relic chapter. The only strange thing is, sometimes when it´s autosaving takes about 30seconds, looks like the game crashed but after 30 secs its running normally back again.

@ Frostfel; yes I have noticed that on occasion as well. More specifically when playing mods verses vanilla. It seems it stutters or faults but recovers quickly. I did look through the log file that crysis generates when this happens. For me it seemed like a access violation or write error. Probrobly because I do not disable my firewall virus scanner while playing and it tends to pick in-opertune times to run quick checks. Which if timed right at the point of saving or crossing a check point can result in corruption.
