Just installing this game, what is this gamespy comrade crap?
Seriously, I bit my lip and held my breath while the punkbuster crap installed, then this gamespy comrade crap pops up to install without so much as an explanation, or an option.... I really have no intention of playing this multiplayer I shouldn't have to install all this suspicious crap on my PC, if that is their terms for multiplayer, then it should only install when you click on multiplayer after a brief explanation.

I had heard good things about Crysis but now I'm not so sure, the last game that wanted to use this Punkbuster Crap, America's Army, was a real piece of crap game.

Crappity crap crapper crapola crap, Mrs. Crapinson

can you just close the install window for the gamespy thing?
I recall not installing that when I played Crysis and everything else went fine.
I don't think it's required for MP anyway.

Punkbuster isn't bad, it just isn't updated enough to do any good these days.
You can disable the related services in Windows Services and PB will still function properly in-game, letting you play MP if you want.

Thank you for your reply, yes I canceled out of the gamespy comrade and the game still works fine.

I am really enjoying this game, so far :)

Does anyone happen to know if this is a multiplayer co-op campaign, like via lan/ip? the vehicles have many places to sit etc, just seems that the engine is quite capable of a co-op campaign.

Never found a working co-op mod for any of the Crysis games. The extra seats are for MP players on MP maps, you need to go online line with real players to fill them up those seats in a versus match, Crysis Wars was the best for MP not played that in years though.
Yes of course I'm familiar with Gamespy, I've never heard of Gamespy Comrade, or Comrade.

So no versus AI other than the singplayer campaign? thanks

Last time I checked, Punkbuster is used to prevent cheating.

Clearly you're new to this.
