Crysis 1 crashing after graphics options are changed
I just purchased a new laptop for myself, and decided to put Crysis 1 on it for some on the go entertainment. Well technically speaking, my laptop should have relatively little problem running Crysis at high settings, at least that is what I thought. I tried guild wars 2 and a few other games on full settings, and it plays without a hitch, but crysis 1 seems to be an exception to the rule. So back to the point, I have an ASUS laptop with i7 3rd gen 2.4Ghz CPU, 8GB of DDR3 ram, 1TB of 5400rpm HDD (I know its slow but it gets the job done), nvidia GeForce GT 635M 2GB, and Windows 8 64bit. I have been fiddling with the graphics options to find the sweet spot between performance and quality, but everytime I change an option and click apply the whole game crashes. Once more, this game seems to be running poorly compared to other more mordern titles than this one, so I am having difficulty understanding why it runs so poorly, and why it is crashing. Also, if anyone knows the sweet spot for Crysis 1 settings it would be very much appreciated.

looks it happens to alot of people make sure there is no way to get a virus and disable your anti virus then you can mess with the settings without it crashing after your done close the game save your setting and turn your anti virus back on.
