Graphic mods w/o performance hit
I've only got a 5750 on an i32100 - it does me fine, but on Crysis I run most things on Very High, but not all. It's not as smooth as I'd like it so I might turn some others down to High (as it runs all high with textures Very High fine).

Anyway, as I fear I'll never be in the 300$ GPU elite club, I'm still curious if you guys might know of a couple eye candy mods out there that don't add too much stress. I saw blackfire's but it looks like 9 pages of individual errors and crashes on the crydev site..

thanks!

ps - so I dont make another topic, I've added "+g_skipIntro 1" without the quotes to my launch options but the intro videos are still there __

One mod i know is Blackfire Ultimate mod that it does have small performance hit (around 5-10 fps drop) and it really makes Crysis look really beautiful.

Here is one screenshot with BlackFire Ultimate mod with some HD texture mods.

Now to the skipping the intro videos things.
Well i found that you can delete, move them or just re-name those intro video files that are in your <Place where your steam games are or place where you installed Crysis>\Crytek\Crysis\Game\Localized\Video folder.
There you can find files that have Trailers on them try re-name them and then try if it did work.

Thanks! I saw Blackfire and it did seem to fit, but there's so many random errors I'm hesitant..

Do the texture packs do a big hurt? I think on any of this stuff I'm gonna wait to get 64-bit working. Still having problems with that.

is there a way to fix the fact that the blackfire's mod makes you play the game during daytime only? i know that you can switch to nighttime, but i'd like to play the game as original intended with the BFM improvements

Has anybody used blackfire if they could only run vanilla in medium?

I personally love the CCC mod.
