is crysis liener and check point based all the way through
im wondering because i htoght it was just all open world like far cry 2 but itis all check point based right now for me. thanks for the help

There have to be checkpoints in a game like this. So, that's a non-issue.

And it is open-world enough to keep it interesting, but narrow enough to keep you on mission...

Summer sale is approaching fast, so I recommend picking it up then, as well as Warhead.

Both are excellent, with the only exception that Warhead is a bit shorter and narrower...

Its not open world and doesnt become open world, but its not a corridor shooter. Or maybe it is, but it has very, VERY wide corridors.

yes, but lets give the game some credit, it also has pretty wide corrridors compared to 99% of first person shooter campaigns. Its not nearly as limited as some people exagerate it to be.
You can actually save at any point and load from that same exact spot that you saved. You don't have to wait for the check points.
