How is this game bad? If your a fan of RTS, Resorce harvesting/managment games this game is awsom! It has a great old school vibe about it, the only downside is how small/short it is.

good in theory, bady realised by any modern standards. too reliant on chance, if you make a strategic error, there's no pulling it back, and there's insufficient feedback to know when this might happen. plus there is no continuous campaign, every game is a one off.

also crashes all the time

Why is there always people that justify games? It's like this game is the biggest turd on Steam ever.

I enjoy playing this game. It's similar to modern roguelikes with it's randomly generated progress. It's not for every body. But it's not a turd. It's fun to take out every once in a while. In some ways it plays like a single player moba.

Because it's not.

It's actually a fun little game. It's a simplistic city-building game combined with a very simplistic Diablo-type game. Neither one would work by itself, but combined they create a cute and somewhat interesting game. Of course, my expectations were low since I got it for $1. It's not a great game but it has its moments.

I bought it for $20 when it first came out. >;C

this thread is old. I think the developers back their own game up with alternative accounts.

Modified shill gambit. Failure to argue well.

That being said, buying something like this and expecting a full RTS or a full dungeon crawler would have been stupid. It's a fair game, but if you expected a AAA game, that's your own fault for being an idiot. If you didn't, that's why I suggested better genre tags on Steam. :P

I could have been hinting to something like that in the original post. BUT NOOOOOO

You hinted at not getting what you expected. A simple look at the store page would have changed those expectations.

I'm not the one who needs to learn, though, since reading the store page IS research.

I'm not the one who started a thread simply to whine about my own failures and insult a game I don't see the value in.
