Just bought it, and started her up. It does work, although it will start up at a much lower resolution than your monitor is set to; it'll correct itself during gameplay.

Will say it works perfectly fine, but it tends to crash. I think this may just be from having too many cheats on, though. :0

The game works fine for me on windows 7. Though playing at 1920x1080 doesn't seem to work well for me and it likes exactly the same at 1600ish resolution so thats what I play at. Not at 1920x1080

I had mine working at one point, crashing now, I think the resolution is the issue.

With a reduced resolution (and no scaling throu drivers) i have a clear picture - on native 1920x1080 it's slightly flickering and fuzzy - quite annoying (win7 x64)

Resolution just takes place within the acutal gameplay, menus wont be affected oO

I have reduced the resolution and all graphics choices to minimum and I'm still having very choppy game play. I got through the first campaign, but the next one is freezing constantly. I downloaded the file mentioned in the choppy gameplay thread, but I can't figure out how/where it needs to be installed. I have tried to go to the root program and change the compatibility to a previous version of windows as it recommended but that did not help. Basically the game is virtually unplayable at the moment. I have an ASUS Windows 7 64 bit, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870.

You're not going to get hi-res with this title; remember it's from 2003, when the standard resolution was still 1024x768 and everyone had CRT monitors so anything higher than that was very expensive; nowadays games are made to scale up to very high resolutions, but back then it was basically a waste of time to make it too scalable.

I now have a new laptop with a Nvidia graphics card and it works perfectly. I think it was the ATI Mobility Radeon that was causing the problem.
