Steam Starter Pack bought - No boost?

Where am I meant to see that the 50% XP boost is in effect?

It is the third line of XP, the 'VIP' boost. That entire line is the Steam boost.

To the left of "No boost" it says something about VIP account. Then when you finish a match you see your bonus xp as half of the earned xp.
