That is still peanuts...
It's not as much as other games but is WAY more than enough to get a game going. I haven't played since Hi Rez came out and said they were abandoning it. Thought there would be no one playing by now. Never been so happy to be so wrong, I love this game.
And Hirez ruined the game so badly that at peak hours 400 people play concurrently, and that the forums were so hostile towards them that they had to offload their community to reddit, which also hates them, but a little less so.
Edit: Also comparing Tribes to TF2 is just silly. Comparing tribes to any other shooter is just silly ... Best and most skill demanding shooter out there , just the fact that bullets inherit traveling speed, which on its own is a big part of the game ..
