Is GA still pay to win?

I have been playing this game on and off since its first release. It has always bothered me how drastically favored the paying members are in the game. The friends i recruited to play with me all left out if frustration. I stopped playing for a while. I was thinking of getting back into it again, but is it still pay to win?

GA was never P2W. I assume you're referring to the optional upgrade to Elite status (aka buying the game once) ? I bought the game for about 15€ long before it was F2P and I never spent a penny on it after that. I was never disadvantaged in terms of gear or anything else at all. Paying for the game ONCE is not P2W. People who choose to continue paying to buy in-game items were actually mostly paying for gimmicky appearance stuff, or to get gear faster. There was never pay-exclusive gear. Paying just helped you get it faster.

If I recall, there was an attitude that people who payed to level up/get gear faster were actually at a serious disadvantage because they never learned how to use their skills or gear properly by levelling through the tiers normally/progressively, hence they'd simply suck, no matter how good their gear was. GA was always skill-based, no gear-based.

this game is still fun.. i enjoy it. i just wish they would add more contect
