Is it still broken?

I want to buy this game, it's the one Oddworld I never played. But I'm reading so many posts that says it's broken and won't work for a lot of people. I have an okay computer, but it's not great, I can play a lot of games on it without problems but I can't play very new 3D games. Does it have to do with your system requirements, or is this still an unsolved issue?

Edit: I mean, I can play new 3D games, they just lag a lot.

I have the requirements to run the game, but I was asking if the game is still broken as it was about a month ago, when people reported that it kept crashing and was unplayable, and I was wondering if it had anything to do with having a lesser system than other players even though it meets requirements.

Let's put it this way I cna easliy play Skyrim on my computer. I can't run this though. the game constintly hiccups
