Have the launcher, but no game.
Any up-to-date info around on why SWHD-PC refuses to load beyond the Launcher? By refusing to load, I mean it just does nothing. Launcher disappears, but no game/game screen follows.
Shame to see so many issues plauging this awesome game.

There's several topics on this but it could be a driver issue. Only seems to work on Nividia, even then it needs the latest update.

Could be crashing without an error prompt. First verify your game cache, then to check if there was an error go to control panel>administrative tools>event viewer>windows logs>application and scoll to the time you last started the game (might help to launch the game just before launching event viewer). See if there is an error event there with a faulting application name of launcher.exe or stranger.exe and copy>paste the details of the error into a forum post.

What kind of video card do you have, and what windows version, by the way?

ig4icd32.dll is your intel graphics driver. You most likely got your graphics drivers from the Apple boot camp package since you are running a mac mini - I have read about people having problems with intel graphics drives in boot camp on windows 8.1. What model of Mac Mini do you have? I usually wouldn't recommend it, but you might be able to fix this by installing the latest graphics drivers from intel (or even the beta, depending on which CPU you have). The package from Apple is most certainly not going to be the latest version.

I checked the Apple site and it looks like you have either a mid 2011 mini or a late 2012 mini. The mid-2011 model would use these drivers:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Graphics&ProductLine=Desktop+graphics+drivers&ProductProduct=2nd+Generation+Intel%C2%AE+Core%E2%84%A2+Processors+with+Intel%C2%AE+HD+Graphics+3000%2f2000&ProdId=3319&LineId=1100&FamilyId=39

The late 2012 would use these drivers:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Graphics&ProductLine=Desktop+graphics+drivers&ProductProduct=3rd+Generation+Intel%C2%AE+Core%E2%84%A2+Processors+with+Intel%C2%AE+HD+Graphics+4000&ProdId=3712&LineId=1100&FamilyId=39

For the late 2012, there is a beta available. Might want to try the stable one first.

Some people mentioned updating firmware helped, but that you should only do it from MacOS.

Well updated the Mac OS, now that's disabled my mac shortcut keys on the Windows side. (Time for me to bash my head on wall)

Anyway did the updates, still the game is broken.

You may have to contact Apple about this. Perhaps for your next PC, get something a little better suited to gaming. As for the shortcut keys, try changing the settings from the boot camp windows app. It should be in your system tray. I have it set so that the shortcut keys work as F1-F12, and if I use the function key ("fn") they work as shortcut keys.

I understand how gaming works and Apple machine was given to me so I didn't pay for it. Also the shortcuts fixed themselves for some odd reason but anyway I sent the event log to the dev's so mainly waiting on hearing back from them.

Best of luck with the devs. I only said that about the macs because you said you had 2 macs, I figured it was a regular thing for you. Were they both free? Lucky.

Well yep, first was because of University then dad gave me one recently. I had laptops before but they always fell apart after a while, trying to save up for X1, I7 related machine.

Doesn't the X1 have intel graphics? I would STRONGLY recommend Nvidia unless you you are prepared for many more headaches. That and Nvidia will perform much better. For the same price as the X1, there are plenty of Nvidia-based ultrabooks (and of course a lot of even more powerful desktops).

Not worried about the graphics on X1, main reason I'm wanting it is because of Halo 5. Anyway I'm not what I want when I get it but it's too soon to decide plus by the time I can afford it then the hardware for the desktop would eventually be slightly out-dated.

oh xbox one, I thought you meant the lenovo thinkpad X1.

Thanks for all the tips. I will try the ones that apply to my system as soon as I can and will definitely drop a note on what may have worked for me.

I'm having a problem too, even though I'm on an NVIDIA 570 GTX. I don't have a Preferred Graphics Processor option, so I can't do anything about that. I'm on Windows 7.

They recently messaged me, said "Having looked at the issue, it seems there's a problem in some of the drivers we use. It could be that these drivers will be fixed by their creators in the future, but we think we can create a workaround in the meantime. It will have to wait until our programmers have finished on New 'n' Tasty, but if the problem still exists then we will work on that fix. Until then I can only offer you my sincerest apologies that this affects your copy of the game."
