anyone have a idea how to play it in window mode?

I would like to know as well. Just picked up the game but I just can't play it in fullscreen the resolution is too low.

Be warned, this mod will replace all the flavour text in the scrolling screens to an advert for the mod maker's website and also breaks the total mudokons display making it permanently show 999.
Other than that it works fine.

Wow really? So then how do you know if you got all of them or not if they show 999? And advert is kinda a low blow, anyways to fix this to revert back to original state without advertisements?
