Turrets lack pivoting power

I played this game like a year ago and now I'v started playing again but the hole game is broken. The turrents only turn around at like 20th the speed they are supossed to meaning they sometimes cant get a bearing on thos slow ass UFOs before the ships fly friggin past them, and with how inaccurate the missiles are make playing this game impossible since I cant defent the first 5 waves under these condions.

After a bit of messing around I realised this was a timing issue, likely because there are so many frames being processed. Anyway try forcing vsync on your drivers for the game and playing in fullscreen mode which will limit the fps to (usually) 60fps.

Some people have found deleting the config file works for some reason.
