I used to have this game on my old pc without steam, Now i dont have the disk but i have the case and cd-key

Ii used to have this game on my old pc but then the disc go scratched and wouldnt run and then i got a new pc and now i cannot run the game because its not in my documents or files and now i have steam i can buy it again bt i already have the cd key from the last time is there anything i can do to still play this game without having to buy it again?

I don't think so :( I also have a disc and there will not go long time before it dies :'( so i also thought about buy it on steam, but when i found out the expansion disc is not inclouded i got mad :/
