Difference between DEMO and full version?

So i have had the demo, and have 25 hours on it, but whats the difference between the full version, and the demo? I dunno if theres anything different...

In the demo, you cannot play multiplayer with someone else who has only the demo.

Yeah i had read that this was something the FULL version has, but i was playing with 3 of my friends who don't own the full game either...

whats with the lines in the ocean. i noticed it in uplink aswel. guess they used the same map. but why not fix it.
